BIOGRAPHY DR ALBERT
OWNER AND PROSTHODONTIST

FRANCINE ALBERT
Born and raised in New Brunswick, Dr Francine Albert obtained her doctorate in dentistry from Laval University in 1997 and completed her specialty in Prosthodontics and a Masters of Sciences at the University of Toronto in 2001. She was awarded The University of Toronto Open Fellowships for academic excellence in 2000 and 2001. In 2007 she was also admitted to the prestigious American Academy of Prosthodontics.
Dr Albert has been an associate professor at the University of Toronto, Université Laval and McGill University. She has published various articles in prosthodontics, among others, in the International Journal of Prosthodontics. She was president of the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada from 2008 to 2010 and is a member of the International College of Prosthodontists. Dr Albert was also selected as a prosthodontic examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. She also served as chief examiner for the oral exam.

YOUTH OF MALAWI HUMANITARIAN AID GROUP

FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT OF THE ASSOCIATION OF PROSTHODONTISTS
Dr Albert is part of a humanitarian aid group "Youth of Malawi" whose mission is to help a group of 600 orphans.
Dr Albert was named the first female president of the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada from 2008-2010
